Burning Man 2017 took place from August 27 to September 4 in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Participants join in the effort to co-create Black Rock City, a temporary metropolis dedicated to art and community. The year theme 'Radical Ritual' staged the man which burns at the end of the event in a pagoda pavilion. The lighting team composed of benevolent professionals was in charge of designing the lighting scheme of the wooden shrine and installing the equipment ahead of the festivities.
